We built Bonza Engine to help Australian cleaning businesses thrive. Use it to grow your business, not for anything dodgy. We charge monthly, you can cancel anytime, and we'll always treat you fairly. If something goes wrong, we'll work it out together.

1. Agreement to Terms

By using Bonza Engine, you agree to these Terms of Service. Bonza Engine Pty Ltd ("we", "our", "us") provides the Bonza Engine platform ("Service") from South West Rocks, NSW, Australia. If you're using Bonza Engine for a business, you're agreeing on behalf of that business.

2. Use of Service

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must have a registered Australian business (ABN required)
  • You must provide accurate, current information

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Bonza Engine only for:

  • Managing your legitimate cleaning business
  • Processing genuine bookings and payments
  • Communicating with real customers

Prohibited Use

You must NOT:

  • Use the Service for illegal activities
  • Process fraudulent transactions
  • Spam or harass users
  • Attempt to hack or compromise the system
  • Resell or sublicense the Service
  • Scrape or copy our data or design

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You're responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
  • You're liable for all activity under your account
  • One account per business (no duplicate accounts)

4. Payment Terms

Subscription Fees

  • Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance
  • Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST
  • We'll notify you 30 days before any price increases
  • No setup fees or hidden charges

Transaction Fees

  • Payment processing fees apply per transaction
  • Current rates displayed in your dashboard
  • Fees cover payment gateway and processing costs

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new customers. After that, no refunds for partial months, but you can cancel anytime and continue using the Service until the end of your billing period.

5. Service Availability

  • We aim for 99.9% uptime but can't guarantee uninterrupted service
  • Scheduled maintenance performed during low-usage hours
  • We'll notify you of planned downtime when possible
  • Mobile apps require compatible iOS/Android devices

6. Your Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload (business info, customer data, etc.). You grant us licence to use it solely to provide the Service.

Responsibility

You're responsible for:

  • Accuracy of your business information
  • Having rights to use any uploaded content
  • Complying with privacy laws for customer data

7. Intellectual Property

The Bonza Engine platform, including design, features, and content, is protected by Australian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

Bonza Engine integrates with third-party services:

  • Stripe: Payment processing (subject to Stripe's terms)
  • SMS Gateway: Text messaging (standard SMS rates may apply)
  • Google Maps: Address validation and mapping

We're not responsible for third-party service outages or changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months
  • We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We're not liable for lost profits or business opportunities
  • You use the Service at your own risk

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

11. Termination

By You

  • Cancel anytime from your account settings
  • Access continues until end of billing period
  • Export your data before cancellation

By Us

We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. We'll try to notify you first unless immediate action is required.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

13. Dispute Resolution

We prefer to resolve issues directly:

  1. Contact our support team first
  2. If unresolved, formal complaint to management
  3. If still unresolved, mediation through Australian Commercial Disputes Centre
  4. Last resort: proceedings in NSW courts

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in NSW courts.
